WCC Smart Search & Match, a provider of high-performance search and match software, announced its collaboration with SecuGen, a developer of optical fingerprint recognition technology for biometric identification and authentication. SecuGen has developed fast, rugged and accurate fingerprint readers and software, which will provide enhanced identification and authentication for WCCs ELISE ID -- The Platform for Multi-Modal Fusion.
ELISE ID is capable of searching vast amounts of data - both biographic and complex biometric - to deliver meaningful, ranked results extremely quickly. ELISE ID optimizes identity searching using advanced technologies to calculate similarities and rank results, allowing for true score-level fusion. ELISE IDs platform will incorporate SecuGens fingerprint technology as a significant enhancement to its capabilities for multi-factor identification.
"Our partnership with SecuGen brings together two key technologies to deliver on the promise of multimodal fusion," said Peter Went, CEO of WCC. "This collaboration allows us for an enhanced multi-modal search and match platform tailored to large databases found in such areas as the federal government, healthcare and financial sectors."
"Fingerprint authentication is one of the trusted and most accurate methods to proving identity," said Won Lee, CEO at SecuGen. "We are excited to work with WCC Smart Search & Match to create a truly multi-modal platform that exceeds anything available in the world today."
