The Georgian Security Police Department has been using a one-way radio alternative for their alarm communications needs but had significant difficulties. According to the Head of Technical Development Service for the Georgian Police, Zurab Tuskia, "We had bad experiences with other systems we tried and we were losing signals. In the life safety industry, it is imperative that all signals get through and that none are lost."
