AMG increases focus on the Middle East market

New sales manager to work dedicated in the region

AMG Systems Ltd. announced that Simon O¡¯Neill has started as Sales Manager for the Middle East Region.  Simon O¡¯Neill has an engineering background and joins AMG Systems from a position as Regional Sales Manager in De La Rue Cash Systems FZCO.  Prior to this Simon held a position as Country Manager in Syria with Group4 Securicor.  Simon therefore has long standing experience in the Middle East market, having lived in UAE, Egypt and Syria over a 7 year period and travelling internationally for 14 years.  He will spend a significant part of the year in the Middle East liaising with AMG clients and partners.

Founder and MD of AMG Systems Alan Hayes said, ¡°AMG has seen the market in the Middle East grow rapidly over the past few years.  The new position as International Sales Manager with dedicated  responsibility for the Middle East Market is a further testament to our firm commitment to the region and I am delighted that we have employed Simon with his in-depth knowledge of the market and -- equally important -- the culture¡± .

Simon O¡¯Neill comments, ¡°AMG offers a unique service to its clients by offering to design fibre-optic solutions for security and building management infrastructures which can incorporate true dual redundant optical systems which is why a number of the Airports, Military Bases, Museums, Shopping Malls, Tunnels and Highways within the region all use our technology.  Our aim in the Middle East over the next year is to promote a future proof solution that can incorporate the latest developments in security software and hardware devices which are increasing in capabilities annually¡±.
