The Alarm Sensor with MRD Driver

Both PIR sensors and dual-tech sensors are strongly affected by the environment temperature due to the limitations of the PIR detection principle. Besides the false and missing alarm ratio caused by environment temperature, one of the most serious problems for these sensors is their insufficient reliability (e.g., if a intruder hides himself or herself by a metal plate, a raincoat or an umbrella behind the PIR detection area, the intruder can go out of the detection area without alarming.), which is extremely dangerous.

So, a better solution is in urgent need.

To meet the growing needs for the better solution, SZ TopArm has debuted a new intrusion sensor with MRD dual-MW technology, providing you a wide range of advantages below.

  • Completely solves the problems of temperature and masking.
  • Scans the shape and the relative displacement speed of intruders.
  • Distinguishes the difference between intruders and other objects, such as trees, clothes, swing curtains, exhaust outlets of air conditioners and other shaking objects, recognizing the difference between humans and pets.
  • A full range of the anti-mask distance of dual-MW technology sensors
  • Used in outdoor, working normally at -55?~ +65?
  • MRD dual-MW technology -- improving the detection sensitivity and avoiding the false alarm ratio
  • Provides not only reinforced safety, security and reliability but also enhanced the veracity of alarm and lowered costs of alarm center.

MRD dual-MW sensors Vs. Traditional sensors

MRD dual-MW sensors Vs. Traditional sensors
¡¡ TopArm MRD sensors  Traditional sensors
Anti false-alarm index* ¡Ã95% ¡Ð4%
Recognition of humans and objects Yes No
Temperature -55+65-30+55 ¡¡
Temperature blind area No (in work temperature) Yes (-30~ -10◦,  33~37◦)
Anti-masking Yes (in full range) No
Alarm response time Quick Slow
Energy efficiency Only 8~10mA More than25mA
Hidden installation Yes No
Maintenance frequency  No need  Need
Price Similar with other sensors or lower ¡¡

* Anti-false alarm index (tested in TopArm laboratory, especially built to experiment on this series sensors): 95% is the index of anti-false alarm capability of the detector under the environment which may cause the false alarm, such as direct sunlight, oblique sunlight, shaking branches, 1 mm~100 mm/h of rainfall and the wind at speed of 0~40 km/h.  (Tested under the same condition, the index of the traditional detectors is £¼4%).

MRD: The adopted principle from Phased Array Radar technology can scan the shape of the objects and recognize humans and objects by moving rules.  This is the precedent to use Array Radar technology in alarm field.
