QinetiQ participates in US$50 billion US government contract

QinetiQ Group has announced that its US subsidiary, ITS Corporation (ITS), has been awarded the right to participate in the US¡¯s largest government-wide acquisition contract (GWAC).

The General Service Administration¡¯s (GSA) Alliant contract is a 10-year indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with a ceiling of $50 billion. It will enable US government agencies and military services to purchase innovative IT solutions.
ITS is one of around 30 potential contractors accepted under the Alliant contract vehicle. The company already holds a number of significant GWACs, including the GSA¡¯s ANSWER and Millennia-Lite contracts.
¡°This is a major win for QinetiQ North America,¡± comments QinetiQ chief executive Graham Love. ¡°The intention is to establish GSA Alliant as another flagship contract alongside those we have already secured.¡±
QinetiQ North America specialises in providing IT systems, business process management and operational support to federal government customers including the US Army, Navy and Department of Homeland Security. It has a range of longstanding customer relationships with the likes of the US intelligence community and a variety of agencies and departments within the Navy and Army.
