videoNEXT and SightLogix Partner Offering Integrated Video Surveillance Solution

videoNEXT, a developer of innovative security management solutions, announced that it has entered into a partnership with SightLogix Inc., the developer of the industrys first outdoor automated video surveillance solution.

The agreement between these two video surveillance industry leaders will enable them to provide a bundled video surveillance solution for preemptive, mission-critical applications.

"The SightLogix SightSensor is an intelligent video surveillance solution that is a true complement to our Security Knowledge Manager(TM) (SKM(TM))," said videoNEXT president and CEO, Joseph Costa.  "With SightLogix offering 10 times the coverage area and one tenth the false alarms at less than half the cost of other surveillance methods, we are able to integrate a powerful surveillance solution that provides our government customers with a reliable detection and surveillance management solution."

"Both SightLogix and videoNEXT work with mission-critical security applications in the DoD and federal government market," said Larry Barfield, vice president of Government Programs for SightLogix.  "videoNEXT was a logical partner for us.  They are able to provide high-end video surveillance management systems by using the output from our intelligent, SightSensor solution.  videoNEXT knows how to display, store and analyze the data and handle alarms, allowing us to provide the surveillance aspect and videoNEXT to provide the protection."

videoNEXTs SKM is an open, standards-based software solution that works with almost any IP, digital or analog camera, runs on any Intel or compatible server and uses an organizations existing security and data infrastructure in new and powerful ways.  It provides the easiest and most scalable IP surveillance and security solution available today.  Combining this with full policy-level administration and a flexible high availability Storage Volume Manager - organizations now have a highly capable, powerful, scalable and easy- to-use surveillance and security tool.

The SightLogix Enterprise Security system consists of multiple SightSensor units connected to SightMonitor target-display coordination software that resides with existing display and archival (NVR) systems.  The SightSensor is a powerful and unique processing platform that integrates camera control, advanced image processing, object tracking and behavior analysis inside the camera enclosure.  The net-centric SightLogix system is designed to operate over low- bandwidth wireless networks and can run on solar / battery power.  SightMonitor coordinates and displays data from all SightSensors on an integrated, geo- referenced topology map.  It shows geo-located targets as moving icons overlaid on camera footprint icons.  SightMonitor software blends into most NVR systems with no modification or middleware.
