iJET introduces Worldcue Airline Monitor

New travel risk management service addresses mounting liability concerns

iJET Intelligent Risk Systems, a provider of global intelligence, business resiliency technology and integrated emergency response services, today announced it has enhanced its Travel Risk Management service offerings, incorporating the new Worldcue Airline Monitor and adding other features to enable more effective corporate travel risk management programs.

iJETs Worldcue Airline Monitor is an extension of its Worldcue Travel Risk Management solution, which automatically relates global threats and incidents to travelers itineraries to help them avoid potential difficulties. The Worldcue Airline Monitor allows companies to further minimize their travelers exposure to risk by notifying travel managers of trips booked on airline carriers that do not meet minimum standards of operational safety. iJETs intelligence team and transportation experts monitor and analyze information on more than 300 airlines, including large commercial scheduled passenger airlines and a number of smaller and charter passenger carriers, to determine risk ratings.

"In light of recent developments, such as the European Unions air carrier blacklist for airlines that dont meet certain safety requirements, the legal landscape for travel risk managers continues to change," said iJET CEO Bruce McIndoe. "Enterprises now have increased duty of care and duty to warn employees who may be booked to fly with questionable carriers. The Worldcue enhancements help address these new realities."

Companies with their own list of preferred -- or not preferred -- airline carriers can customize the iJET list in accordance with their travel policies. Automated notifications reflect the preferences of each company.

The Worldcue Travel Risk Management system integrates 24x7 world-class intelligence operations with award-winning technology and an emergency communication center, allowing organizations to quickly monitor and assess global threats to travelers, determine the impact and deploy the appropriate responses. Worldcue Travel Risk Management also notifies corporate travel managers when VIPs book travel, when an employee books a trip to a high-risk destination and when more than a certain number of employees are booked on one flight.
