IntelliViewer¢â remote video surveillance solution launched

AirVisual, Inc., a provider of visual intelligence to first responders in the security and public safety sectors, has recently deployed the company¡¯s innovative IntelliViewer 2.0 Remote Video Surveillance Solution for the Haverhill, Massachusetts Police Department.

IntelliViewer 2.0¡¯s open architecture platform was implemented to transmit real-time video from deployed cameras located throughout the community to the MDTs in squad cars via the state¡¯s wireless network. IntelliViewer, in conjunction with BioKey¡¯s Mobile Cop platform, allows the Haverhill PD to seamlessly integrate archived and live streaming video with CJIS and NCIC query technology while offering the ability to dispatch and/or share photos and video for BOLOs and visual verification of incidents.  With the deployment of this combined architecture, the Haverhill PD is pioneering a new solution for delivering situational awareness to responders where and when they need it.

¡°AirVisual¡¯s IntelliViewer provides the Haverhill PD with a powerful tool for first responders en route to potentially dangerous situations, or where special care may be required,¡± said Tom Hansen, AirVisual¡¯s founder and CEO. ¡°Our open platform remote video surveillance solution also provides the unique ability to integrate into virtually any private or public owned security network further extending the utility of the system.¡±

AirVisual¡¯s IntelliViewer open and secure platform offers full telemetry, enabling control over internal video surveillance system functions such as PTZ control, DVR set-up and programming, and access control with advanced notification features ? including the ability to send bookmarks with specific information related to alarm events.

AirVisual¡¯s IntelliViewer provides real-time views, as well as archived video playback from surveillance cameras, GPS-tracking and alarm monitoring using a map-and-floor plan interface and offers personnel immediate access and sharing of critical data previously only available via the central station. IntelliViewer can be implemented using virtually any mobile device on almost any wireless network. It integrates with existing video networks as well as supporting other surveillance technologies such as heat sensors, motion detectors, access control and chemical/biological monitoring. For added convenience and ease of operation, IntelliViewer utilizes standard web browsers to provide a graphical user interface (GUI) for configuration and operation, without having to install custom software.
