Aruba Networks and Westcon Group partner to deliver secure mobility solutions

Under new distribution agreement Westcon group will market the entire Aruba product line throughout the Americas and EMEA

Aruba Networks, Inc., a provider of secure mobility solutions, and Westcon Group, Inc., a leading specialty distributors of networking, security, mobility and convergence, has announced a strategic distribution agreement under which Westcon will market and distribute Arubas entire secure mobility and wireless LAN product line throughout the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

By carrying Aruba products, Westcon Group will offer its value-added resellers a suite of secure, next-generation wireless solutions for converged voice, video and data applications, including those that require seamless transitions between Wi-Fi and cellular networks. Aruba products that will be marketed and distributed by Westcon include Aruba Mobility Controllers, wireless LAN access points, ArubaOS Mobility Software, and the Aruba Mobility Management System. These products are the building blocks for Arubas Mobile Edge Architecture, which extends the enterprise network to reach mobile users, regardless of location.

"By bringing Aruba into our portfolio, we are opening a new dimension of mobile opportunities for our resellers," commented Anthony Daley, executive vice president, the Americas, Westcon Group. "The flexibility and security of Arubas platform, combined with its outstanding voice quality and robust wireless networking, enable us to deliver market leading mobility solutions to resellers."

Arubas secure mobility solutions are purpose-built to provide high performance, easily deployed wireless networking, client-to-core security, compatibility with existing LAN and core infrastructure, and a VPN-free means of extending a corporate network to branch offices, virtual offices, and mobile workers.
