Vision Fire & Security begins new era as Xtralis

New identity allows former Vision Fire & Security business to create new global brand

Vision Fire & Security has signalled the start of a new chapter in the company¡¯s history following its acquisition by Pacific Equity Partners in March 2006.
To distinguish itself from the former Visions Systems Group entities, the company will now be known as Xtralis
--
a name under which its current and future businesses can unite.
Helge Rognstad, Marketing Manager for Xtralis in the UK explains
, ¡°At one level this is purely a rebranding exercise to put some distance between ourselves and our former owners in the eyes of the Markets.
On the other, it is the birth of a new business, uniting our core product ranges under a single brand, allowing us to expand into different areas of business without being restricted by a ¡®fire¡¯ or ¡®security¡¯ descriptor.
¡°Our objective now is to build a prominent global brand identity, supporting our VESDA smoke detection range, ADPRO surveillance products and MILLBANK voice alarm systems, and actively looking for new acquisition opportunities in the UK, Europe and indeed globally where we can identify complementary technologies and markets.¡±
The launch is supported at a practical level by a new brand identity, literature and website, www.xtralis.com
.
