ECSI partners with SecurWave to OEM water monitoring system

ECSI signed an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) agreement with SecurWave to market the Sentinal Remote Data Processing Unit (RDPU) for data acquisition, on-site analysis, communications and water quality remote monitoring systems.

These systems provide detection of chemical, biological, and radiological (CBR) contamination in drinking water and report detected problems instantly.  The Sentinal systems can be configured to monitor water quality across a broad spectrum of sources and uses and have the greatest flexibility and information management capability available.  Sentinal systems increase efficiency by saving man-hours, laboratory costs and potentially, power and chemical costs through data feedback and process optimization by giving real time, continuous access to water quality information.  The Sentinal integrates standard sensors to afford a wide range of applications.  This flexibility allows remote monitoring of water, air and wastewater.  The integrated hardware/software system is easily integrated with existing SCADA systems.

Ed Hicks, President of SecurWave LLC, stated, "We are excited to distribute the ECSI Sentinal Remote Data Processing Unit (RDPU) under SecurWave for data acquisition, on-site analysis, communications, and information management to our customers and partners worldwide.  The Sentinal provides an added dimension to SecurWaves goal to provide our customers with the most complete security and safety solutions through the use of advanced technology.  Protection and control of our most precious resource, water, is paramount in our world today.  Whether it is in the remote villages of Kenya or the vast metropolitan cities of Los Angeles, Beijing, or Mexico City, water that is free from chemical, nuclear and biological contaminates is crucial to our survival.  Protecting this valuable commodity by allowing real time monitoring and control provides the simplest most effective means of conservation.  In addition, the Sentinal provides remote monitoring of air quality to detect the presence of toxic gases, radioactivity, industrial and WWTP effluent for compliance with standards.  We are honored that ECSI has chosen SecurWave LLC as a global distributor of the Sentinal system."
