Pixim, based in Moutain View, said the new location will provide sales and support for the companys digital imaging system, consisting of image sensors, image processors, camera reference design kits, and key software and algorithms for camera developers.
The company said China and Taiwan each produce about 1 million surveillance cameras per month, and China has become the worlds fastest-growing surveillance end market.
