CHEM, founded in 1956, is regarded as one of the best manufacturers of electric equipments in Taiwan. For steady foundation in R&D and production based on the technology and experiences of more than half century, CHEM shows brilliant performance on the financial statements. The total revenue in 2006 was 10 billion NT dollars, which enabled our investors to earn 1.95 NT dollars per share (after tax).

Since its foundation, Etrovision has aimed at offering professional IP surveillance solutions. Its production was 85% focused on OEM/ODM business before 2009. Three years ago, Etrovision began to focus on the real needs of the customers and what Etrovision can offer. Today, Etrovision supports its partners¡¯ success by delivering innovative products, the best TCO solution and professional service. It is constantly looking towards the future for new and exciting trends that might benefit its customers.

Etrovision explores the real needs of the customers and provides the best TCO solutions with a 3-year warranty, advanced easy-to-use features, the best lead-time and technical service. Quality is the most important factor in the surveillance market, therefore, Etrovision provides customers with a cost-effective product line, but the company is not solely focused on producing low-cost products. Everything Etrovision does every day is done with its partners¡¯ success in mind.

 Sung-Chin Shen, COO of Etrovision

The major difference between digital and analog systems is that digital systems provide versatile applications with bid-direction protocols. Analog systems only focus on video surveillance and cost more in 32-channel application with limited features. However, Etrovision¡¯s IPS products are capable of delivering digital and analog video output simultaneously.

The core business of Etrovision lies in offering professional IP surveillance solutions and ASIC IC design. With high-quality products and reliable customer services, Etrovision devotes itself to exploring unlimited potential and opportunities while developing more strategic partnerships.

The shape of development is sketched by a constantly ongoing of innovation and a rich diversity of high-performance products. From the very beginning to this moment, Etrovision has dedicated to IP surveillance product designing and steadying the role of pioneer by unceasing innovation.

Etrovision provides its products for the middle-high end market in up to 46 countries. 90% of its sales are from the overseas market. In Korea, Etrovision is only focused on some solutions such as parking lot guidance systems with ANPR technology. Most customers of Etrovision in Korea are solution providers, system integrators, and some of them work on a project basis. ¡°The obstacle to entering the Korean market is similar to the Japanese market--the brand issue. And for the Korean market, we are a brand new company. The brand must represent responsibility and quality, and we are willing and able to deliver that,¡± said Sung-Chin Shen, COO of Etrovision.

In Korea, Etrovision will focus on providing total solutions based on its experience gained through projects wordwide. There are many kinds of corporations Etrovision is now in discussions with in Korea, and the company is still looking for the right partner. ¡°Our technical support, reliable products and excellent service are the best reasons for the potential partners to choose us in Korea,¡± said Shen.
