On-Net Surveillance Systems joins the Panasonic Solution Developer Network

Panasonic Security Systems, a division of Panasonic System Solutions Company (PSSA), announces the enrollment of On-Net Surveillance Systems, (OnSSI), in the company¡¯s rapidly expanding Panasonic Solution Developer Network (PSDN) program.

The alliance joins two leading suppliers of advanced networking products and technologies --Panasonic¡¯s i-Pro Series of intelligent and professional IP video surveillance products, and OnSSI¡¯s Intelligent IP Video Surveillance recording, management, and camera control solutions -- to deliver seamless networked system operations.

As a Partner participant in the PSDN Program, OnSSI will receive development tools, technical information, and protocols to encourage and accelerate the development of integrated and inter-operable system solutions for a variety of applications. OnSSI will also have access to other PSDN partners and the system solutions they provide.

¡°Panasonic is working with a diverse range of companies with expertise in related and complementary categories to deliver integrated solutions that operate seamlessly,¡± said Michael Maddox, System Sales Engineer and PSDN Program Manager for Panasonic Security Systems. ¡°We welcome OnSSI to the PSDN Program and believe their IP video surveillance software solutions will provide enhanced security, operational efficiencies, and cost savings to users across a broad spectrum of applications.¡±

¡°OnSSI is committed to delivering a non-proprietary and open architecture solution that is the most advanced, comprehensive and intelligent IP video surveillance solution in the market,¡± added Mulli Diamant, Vice President of Sales, OnSSI.  ¡°Our collaboration with Panasonic is a reflection of our commitment to work with the leading camera manufacturers in the market, and essential to achieving this goal.  End users are able to select their camera of choice, and will be able to leverage the advanced capabilities of Panasonic¡¯s extensive product offerings.¡±

With this collaboration, Panasonic i-Pro intelligent and professional IP camera systems will be fully supported by OnSSI¡¯s NVR, Virtual Video Matrix, Content Analytics and Remote Client Software solutions. This new partnering builds on previous joint efforts employing Panasonic i-Pro cameras and OnSSI¡¯s network management applications.
