In his message, General Le Hong Anh states that, “It is my great pleasure to welcome all delegates and exhibitors to the 15th APSA International Conference and the VIETSECURITY 08 -- Vietnam’s International Security Technology and Services Expo.  It is my pleasure to support this initiative and wish the 15th APSA International Conference and VIETSECURITY Expo & Forum a great success.”  He also instructed all security and fire related Government agencies give full support and participate in the Expo.  The Public Security Ministry will be the anchor tenant in the Expo and will provide information to overseas visitors on the opportunities in joint ventures and investments in Vietnam.

Mr. Tran Trong Vinh, President of APSA, Vietnam has also officially announced that VIETSECURITY 08 Expo is the only security exhibition that is supported by APSA International and APSA, Vietnam.  “We have not given any official support to other security expo in Vietnam.  We want to just focus on making VIETSECURITY 08 Expo and the 15th APSA International Conference a success for the country.  Over 300 representatives from 10 Asian countries will be in Hanoi to attend the 15th APSA International Conference.  We also expect all security professionals in Vietnam to attend this important event.”

Mr. Vinh, who is also the General Director of Silver Sea JSC, one of Vietnam’s largest security systems suppliers, added, “I would like to confirm that my company will only take part in one security expo in Vietnam this year.  We have chosen VIETSECURITY 08 Expo as it is the Official International Security Show in Vietnam.”

VIETSECURITY 08 Expo, which is organized by AMB Events and hosted by APSA Vietnam, is expected to be attended by over 6,000 delegates and trade professionals.  It will be held together with the 15th APSA International Conference and the International Technology Symposium.  Major exhibitors confirmed include Honeywell, Vicon, Rapiscan (USA), Panasonic, Fujinon (Japan), Siemens (Germany), Kocom (Korea), Secom, TJ Systems (Singapore) and Pavilions from Korea, China, Europe, Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan.

The 15th APSA International Conference and VIETSECURITY 08 is held at the National Convention Centre, an ultra modern and prestigious convention centre providing state of the art facilities.
