Previously, Mr. Grau was Group President, Microwave Components and Subsystems for Smiths Group PLC, a specialist in the practical application of advanced technologies for the threat and contraband detection, medical devices, energy and communications markets worldwide. While at Smiths, he established and managed the Microwave Components and Subsystems Group, consisting of four separate business operations, leading it to generate some of the highest net profit margins within Smiths. Mr. Grau also has served as CEO for LEA International, Veridien Corporation and Nationwide Industries. Prior to this, he held various management and sales and marketing positions in Kaepa, Inc., Marketing Corporate of America, Borden Company and the Drackett Company (a division of Bristol Myers). Mr. Grau earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati.
