Solution to boost security and reduce costs

OnSSI brings intelligent IP video surveillance to the next level with integrated content analytics.

On-Net Surveillance Systems Inc., a supplier of non-proprietary, open architecture IP-Based Video Surveillance, has announced the integration of advanced content analytics into their software suite. OnSSIs intelligent IP Video Surveillance solutions now enable intelligent detection and delivery of critical information extracted from vast amounts of live and recorded content. The suite seamlessly integrates with powerful, mission-specific third party modules, controllable from within the network video recorder (NVR) and video client interfaces. It enables efficient automation of event detection, analysis and management processes, thus extending the functionality of IP-based video surveillance.

By intelligently filtering events, content analytics enables fewer people to monitor a far greater number of locations; reducing costs while improving security. The new capabilities are a boon to sites challenged with managing growing security camera installations.

"With this new functionality safety officials now have the ability to effectively monitor massive video streams and archived content," said Gadi Piran, president and CTO of OnSSI. "We are giving security agents practical ways to stay in control of growing surveillance capabilities, through advanced technology that boosts machine vigilance while reducing the need for manual monitoring."

Content analytics and video intelligence tools can be easily integrated with other external applications, databases, or physical devices to further extend functionality, and can be assigned multiple rules and schedules for precise information extraction.
