Designed for use on the edge of networks, the e100 encoder enables surveillance system operators to extend the functionality and interoperability of their CCTV systems, supplying a feature rich device that enables full integration to IP surveillance and video management systems.

Employing the latest H.264 compression technology, the e100 features exceptionally low bandwidth capabilities to deliver full frame rate, real-time images with a 30% bandwidth saving versus standard MPEG4 devices; saving disk space and available bandwidth.  

Providing unsurpassed video and audio quality, the extremely cost-effective e100 is stacked with a host of versatile features. Its dual streaming technology supplies two independent variable quality IP video stream outputs. Each stream supports video input rates from 1 to 25/30 images per second, with resolutions up to D1 at data rates ranging from 128Kbps up to Broadcast quality 6Mbps – along with sub 100ms latency providing the ultimate in PTZ control over IP.  In addition, the e100 also features alarm inputs, a serial data port, and onboard MicroSD card FlashRAID storage.

Available as an add-on option, a Synectics Video Analytics Processor caters for intelligent algorithms to be used on selected video inputs for applications such as people counting, object tracking and ANPR etc. 

Simple to use and install, the e100 can be powered locally or via PoE. Further surveillance flexibility is supplied via a built-in web server, allowing remote viewing.

Although designed for use as a stand alone encoder, when used within a Synectics SynergyPro Virtual Matrix System (VMS) solution, the e100 can provide the key element to ‘bridge the gap’ between the analogue and digital divide, providing seamless live and recorded video integration, together with highly effective video control and management.
