Smartvue and Securitas USA to jointly offer intelligent IP video surveillance solutions

Smartvue signs deal with Securitas USA to offer award winning IP video surveillance and video analytics solutions nationwide.

 SMARTVUE VIDEO CAMERA SYSTEMS

Smartvue Corporation signed an agreement with Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. ("Securitas USA") to offer Smartvue video solutions to its customers nationwide.  Securitas USA will offer Smartvue IP video edge devices as plug and play surveillance solutions.  Integrated video analytics will also provide customers with visual business intelligence using point and click people tracking technologies.

"Securitas completed an extensive review of IP video technologies and found Smartvue to hold the leadership position in simplicity, security, and intelligence," said Bill Barthelemy, COO of Securitas USA.  "The Smartvue products enable Securitas USA to offer solutions such as video surveillance and video analytics along with our guarding services as a complete package to our customers."

"Smartvues purpose is to improve peoples lives through innovative visual technologies," said Martin Renkis, founder and CEO of Smartvue Corporation.  "With Smartvue solutions being offered by Securitas USA, a key affiliate of the worlds leading security services provider, the benefits of video-based security and visual business intelligence will become simpler to implement, more cost effective to own, and more practical to use for businesses across the country."

Smartvue eliminates complexity and costs associated with IP video surveillance and video analytics.  The patent-pending products incorporate automatically configuring network technology with 802.11N draft wireless, H.264 compression, and 120db ultra-wide dynamic range imaging in a fully integrated, Internet ready package.  This enables Smartvue to deliver professional video solutions that are simple to install, deliver up to 10 times the wireless range of other IP cameras, provide superior video quality, and significantly reduce storage and networking requirements.  The self-optimizing "smart camera" video analytics also enable Smartvue to simply and accurately track human behavior as part of the integrated solution.
