Sielox¢ç and EasyLobby¢ç integrate their products

Sielox, a provider of access control systems, and EasyLobby, a specialist in secure visitor management solutions, have announced the availability of an add-on software module that tightly integrates Sielox¡¯s PinnacleTM and EasyLobbys SVMTM (Secure Visitor Management) software. As part of the announcement, Sielox has also become an authorized dealer for the full line of EasyLobby visitor management products, and will be offering the integrated solution to all of its dealers and customers.

With the new integration module, customers using SVM and Pinnacle will be able to issue different levels of card access to visitors, contractors and employees directly from the EasyLobby SVM visitor form.  When a visitor or contractor is badged using SVM, the person¡¯s name, the employee being visited, the access level to be granted, the card number, and the expiration date/time is automatically passed from the SVM database to the Sielox database, and the card is activated.  In addition, when the person is checked out of EasyLobby, Sielox is immediately notified and the card is deactivated.  Cards do not need to be pre-programmed, and they can be re-used.

"More and more of our customers are implementing this type of integration between our award-winning visitor management system and their access control system," said Howard Marson, CEO of EasyLobby.  "The tight integration with Sielox allows our joint customers to quickly and easily grant card access to those visitors or contractors that require it, without having to expose the access control system to their guards and receptionists working in the lobby."

"A growing number of end-users are looking for a more complete integrated solution for lobby management and access control," said Sielox President Karen Evans. "EasyLobbys software allows users to maintain tight controls from initial badging all the way through the access control process. Its a more complete visitor management solution."
