Honeywell forms special sensor sales team

New group supports the ¡°staples¡± used in everyday installations

Honeywell announced the formation of a special sales team to support sensor products to security dealers.  The team, comprising 11 outside regional sales representatives and five dedicated inside sales representatives is focused on supporting sensor products, those often overlooked – but critical components that are used in virtually all security installations.

Honeywell¡¯s robust sensor product line spans the entire security business.  It includes intrusion sensors – including motion detectors, glassbreak detectors, magnetic contacts and sounders.  In video, the products include cameras, monitors, lenses, housings, mounts/brackets and 4x4 DVR¡¯s, and in access control the products include prox readers, credentials and request to exit (RTE) sensors.

¡°This is an energetic, service-oriented sales team that¡¯s dedicated to helping dealers with the products that they use day in and day out – the products that are really the ¡®staples¡¯ of the business,¡± said Rick Koscinski, Sales Director for Honeywell Security.  ¡°The sensor team is here to help dealers sort through the wide range of options available to them, as well as offer advice on how to use sensor products more effectively and more profitably.¡±
