Universal Guardian and SSR Engineering enter strategic distribution agreement

Universal Guardian and SSR Engineering expected to produce significant revenue opportunities in Middle East, Africa and Asia

Universal Guardian Holdings, Inc., an emerging company in integrated transportation, maritime and global supply chain security systems, non-lethal protection products and strategic security services to protect against terrorist, criminal, and security threats to governments and businesses worldwide, has announced it has executed a Strategic Distribution Agreement with SSR Engineering, Inc., of Anaheim, CA.

The purpose of the agreement provides for Universal Guardian to be a master sales, installation, commissioning, and training agent for SSRs Maritime Search Radar/AIS/CCTV solutions for Vessel Tracking Systems (VTS), Harbor Management, Coastal Surveillance, and Offshore Asset monitoring in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific markets through Universal Guardians global security operations network.

"Universal Guardians international experience and extensive range of security solutions, such as their Total Asset Guardian(TM) (TAG3) platform, together with SSR Engineerings Radar Processing Solutions will provide both UGHO and SSR Engineering the ability to grow in the international commercial markets," stated Donald Stoica, President and Chief Executive Officer of SSR Engineering.

"Universal is currently working on several significant revenue opportunities in maritime domain awareness, port security, coastal protection, offshore asset management and critical infrastructure projects and this agreement further supports our mission to be the preferred One Source Provider in Situational Awareness solutions designed to mitigate terrorist and security threats worldwide," stated Michael Skellern, Universal Guardians CEO.

"The opportunity to enhance SeaPort Guardian(TM), Airport Guardian(TM) and Petroleum Guardian(TM) applications by incorporating SSR Engineerings advanced solutions further strengthens the Total Asset Guardian(TM) (TAG3) system which offers a cost-effective and commercially deployable solution for integrated and interoperable command and control, secure RFID- based supply chain management, asset tracking and utilization as well as a single web portal view for Maritime Domain Awareness. Additionally providing Universal Guardians Systems and Universal Guardian Services Group with value added capabilities to leverage the firms international presence in maritime and petroleum security markets," stated Frank Woodward, Director of Business Development.
