The IP Innovation Centre is an education area for both end users and installers. It will be based on a specially designed ¡°IP journey¡± created by Universal Security and CNL. IPSecurityCenter will bring together a variety of applications and devices including cameras from Panasonic, Acam Technology CCTV and Surveillance, communications equipment from Wavesight, displays from Barco, card readers from Third Millennium, IP entry phones from Complus Teltronic and access systems from Honeywell and Lenel.
Keith Bloodworth, CEO at CNL says, ¡°Integrated security forms a significant theme for IFSEC 2008. We have been at the forefront of this technology for a long time and are delighted to be offered the opportunity to participate in the IP Innovation Centre. We are looking forward to demonstrating with our advanced integration partner, Universal Security, who will set up and manage the IP Innovation Centre. The IP Innovation Centre will highlight real benefits to end users and greater opportunities to system integrators.¡±
CNL will be using its own stand at IFSEC as part of the IP Innovation Centre demonstrations. The IPSecurityCenter simulated control room will be linked via an IP network to the IP Innovation Centre. Visitors will be able to generate alarms and incidents on the IP Innovation Centre and see them managed and resolved by operators on the CNL stand via a Barco video wall.
IFSEC hopes to demonstrate the real benefits and ease of use of these systems to security managers and other end users, as well as highlighting the benefits of integration. CNL will be clearly demonstrating to traditional systems integrators and installers the momentum behind this technology and the massive opportunities it presents.
