Envysions solution compatible with Windows Vista

Envysion(TM) Inc., a provider of web-based video management for surveillance and improved business processes, today announced that the companys Envysion Video application is now compatible with the Windows Vista(TM) operating system.

Envysion Video enables customers to improve operations and security by accessing live and recorded video of multiple locations using a simple web-browser interface. It integrates with critical business systems such as point of sale and security access and enables automated reporting and alerting across all of a companys locations.

"As a hosted, software-as-a-service (SaaS) application, its important for Envysion Video to be accessible using a variety of operating systems so that people can view their video using whatever computer is available to them," said Matt Steinfort, President and CEO of Envysion. "The ability to add features and enhancements on a regular basis is one of the benefits of using the SaaS model, and Windows Vista compatibility is just one of many enhancements that weve made to the application already this year," he added.

Windows Vista is designed to lower IT costs and risk and to provide higher levels of data protection using hardware-based encryption technology. It includes tools to improve application compatibility and enables organizations to standardize on a single worldwide deployment image with the inclusion of all Windows user-interface languages.
