Which geographical markets are increasing the most for EVT now?

How do you see the video management software market in the coming years? What are the market drivers and inhibitors, to your mind?
As the video management software market continues to move forward, the market for dedicated H/W-based S/W is expected to decrease, from 30% of the market in 2007 to less than 10% in 2010. Key market drivers include increasing demand for scalable, easy-to-use systems that are flexible and suitable for many different verticals without the need for excessive customization. Distributors are looking for a one-stop-shop for all possible needs such as integration with IP cameras, analogue devices, video analytics and other security related solutions.
How does EVT meet customers needs?
Improvements in technology are great, but solving all security problems using the same technology will most likely result in impracticable solutions. It is necessary to provide technology that can address wide-ranging market problems. The security market faces a mixture of problems resulting from modern age terror, crime, thefts and limited human resources. In selecting the best solution to solve a problem, organizations must ask themselves what the real problem is and what the challenges are to solve it. The customer then needs to search for a solution that solves the more serious problems. In many cases, while there are technologies boosting a list of more than 100 features, practically many of them cant be put to real use and hence do not solve the real security problems.
A technology that can give real advantage has to be based on the human mind of thinking and intuition. This means that it has to work similarly with brains logic system and how the subconscious mind works.
