Criticom Monitoring Services features new US$2.5 million center

Grand opening to showcase advanced and specialized monitoring services available to alarm dealers across the country

To demonstrate the continuing advancement of services it offers, Criticom Monitoring Services (CMS) is opening the doors of its new Cypress, Calif., the U.S., center to allow alarm dealers the opportunity to view firsthand the support teams and technology that are important to them.

"Based on years of experience and many discussions with our dealers, we have created what we believe is one of the finest monitoring centers in our industry," said Tony Wilson, CMS president.  "The design of our new center reflects the critical needs of alarm dealers who not only require dedicated, veteran support and monitoring teams available 24/7 but who also are looking for the latest technology and specialized monitoring to provide them a significant competitive edge.  We understand that reliable and high quality monitoring is first and foremost in importance to our dealers, and this center is evidence of our commitment to lead the industry in meeting this need."

A grand opening will be held at the center from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2008. Tours of the new center will be conducted throughout that day, beginning at 8 a.m.  Business development and dealer relations representatives also will be available to meet with guests.  Alarm dealers or media representatives who would like to attend may R.S.V.P. by calling 1-800-810-7574.

"In addition to this significant investment in our Cypress facility, we continue to introduce new and innovative products and services at all of our centers, addressing the changing and varied communications technologies that have an impact on our dealers operations, such as VoIP and cellular-only phone service," said Wilson.  "We also are expanding our offerings and teams across the nation to provide more support in all areas of our clients businesses, from sales and marketing to online and technical services.  By opening this state-of-the-art center and keeping in close touch with our dealers to always stay in front of their needs, we expect to remain a driving force and the leader in the wholesale monitoring business for many years to come."

In addition to the new Cypress facility, the company also has monitoring facilities in Longwood, Fla., Manasquan, N.J., and St. Paul, Minn.
