Extreme IP imager compatible with OnSSI¡¯s solution

On-Net Surveillance Systems Inc. (OnSSI), the market leader in intelligent, open architecture IP-based video surveillance software solutions, announces seamless compatibility with Extreme CCTV¡¯s EX85 Megapixel IP Imager. The imagers advanced performance will provide HD quality images even in the lowest light conditions enabling optimum functionality of OnSSIs video analytics software and push technology.

¡°Extreme CCTV¡¯s EX85 Megapixel IP Imager produces high definition images that are ideally suited for our IP video control and management solution,¡± said Gadi Piran, President and CTO of OnSSI. ¡°We are extremely pleased to have established this level of interoperability with one of the industry¡¯s leading supplier of IP imaging technology.¡±

¡°The combination of the EX85¡¯s outstanding image clarity and low-noise active-infrared night vision with the OnSSI control solution is very exciting,¡± said Hamish Dobson, Director of Product Management at Extreme CCTV. ¡°This collaboration will enable effective, reliable 24/7 performance of OnSSI¡¯s advanced video content analytics software."

One strong benefit of OnSSIs compatibility with Extreme CCTV is the reduction of bandwidth utilization via Extreme¡¯s Bit-Reduce technology, improving transmission control management and scalability across the system. In addition, Extremes IP Infrared Imaging (I3) design and Black Diamond¢â active-infrared night vision technology provides OnSSIs push technology with high resolution images around the clock.
