Bright Star Couriers, a division of Alliance Building Services, recently opened messenger centers at 5 Hanover Square and 80 Broad Street, New York, the U.S.A. These premier properties are owned by Swig Equities, LLC and located in the heart of the Financial District.
Via the Bright Star messenger center, all deliveries and incoming parcels that enter and exit the buildings are signed for by the messenger center staff and brought directly to the tenant by a Bright Star Couriers employee, thereby avoiding property access to street messengers. To send a package from the building, tenants will call the messenger center, which will then dispatch a Bright Star Couriers staffer to retrieve the package.
¡°Messenger centers play a key role in strengthening the security of a property. Serving a dual function, they efficiently oversee the inbound and outbound stream of package traffic while instilling a sense of safety within the building,¡± said Gary Green, CEO of Alliance Building Services. ¡°With an average of about 500 packages and other parcels entering and leaving these properties on a typical business day, the Bright Star messenger center at both 5 Hanover and 80 Broad will prove to be a secure and equally resourceful service.¡±
¡°Offering an advanced level of access control within the building, this service benefits our tenants and their visitors,¡± said Norman Zeller, Director of Property Management of Swig Equities. ¡°We look forward to adding more Bright Star messenger centers to the Swig Equities portfolio.¡±
