Improved storage and retrieval performance of critical information

MATE Intelligent Video, a developer of video analytics, has announced the release of a new Web Reporter for usage with its counting solutions. This user friendly web based application assists managers to extract critical marketing data fast and efficiently.

MATEs counting solutions iSenseTM, iSense/IMTM and Count WatchTM collect pedestrian or vehicle traffic information from a camera located at the entrance and store it on a remote database. The user is able to access the information via the Web Reporter using a standard web browser. Counting data is presented in a variety of formats; graphs, tables that can be easily exported. The user can generate reports according to his specific requirements, be it hourly, for specific time periods, on a monthly basis or to compare between different periods.

Counting products provide retail managers with business critical information helping them understand shopping patterns and sales conversion ratio and assess advertising campaigns effectiveness. In addition to measuring marketing success, retailers may use these smart tools for planning staff and inventory allocation.

MATEs new Web Reporter enhanced version uses an upgraded database engine to significantly improve report generation performance while connecting to and receiving information from hundreds of counting devices. Additionally, the Reporter Manager eases the management of cameras, detection units and sites.  New features include: branch comparison, email scheduling, comparison between different periods and an upgraded Graphic User Interface (GUI).

The reports are available via standard browser functionality, providing ease and flexibility to the user, and easy access via the Internet, thus making it possible to review data at any time, from anywhere.
