Frank Donck, chairman of the board, explains, ¡°Three and a half years ago we asked Erik Hoving to lead the strategic transformation of Zenitel.  Erik gave the company focus, and created the business models that now are the foundations for future growth. We would like to thank Erik for his many contributions as part of the management.

The near term development of Zenitel will be on executing the defined strategy within the three key offerings and to focus on profitable growth and operational excellence.¡± Eugeen Beckers said, "For todays public and private safety users, high security has become an essential aspect of day-to-day life.  Communication plays a crucial role in providing that safety and security.

Zenitel combines both the security and communications aspects: the company¡¯s products and services are coupled with its system integration capabilities to design, integrate and build secure network environments, its innovative skills to develop state of the art IP products and its ability to run and operate mission critical communication networks.

I am excited to join Zenitel with its distinguished history and capabilities and look forward to building on its core strengths to achieve significant value for its customers, its employees and its shareholders. "
