The Allied Defense Group targets Middle East for electronic security business development

ADG signs business development agreement with Spear International, Ltd.

The Allied Defense Group, Inc., announced that it has entered into an agreement with Spear International, Ltd. (Spear), an international security consultancy group, for the sale of electronic security equipment in the Middle East.

Under the terms of the agreement, Spear will leverage its sales infrastructure to market ADGs electronic security products in Middle Eastern markets, helping the Company to expand its global footprint.  By joining this alliance of security specialists, ADG will establish sales channels, routes to market, distribution and sales outlets that will enable the growth of business in targeted regions of the Middle East.

Major General (Ret) John J. Marcello, The Allied Defense Groups Chief Executive Officer and President, said, "This is an exciting time for ADG.  We have overcome the challenges facing us earlier in the year and now have the resources to dedicate to further enhancing our business.  We want to capitalize on the momentum gained in the last several months and this is a great step in expanding relationships ADG already has with customers in the Middle East.  While our focus there has traditionally been on selling munitions, this agreement with Spear provides the capability to market our security produces and services there, as well.  Forming a strategic relationship with an important sales organization like Spear could provide substantial growth for our security businesses."
