NAVTEQ Map Data selected for use in Real-time Emergency Action Coordination Tool (REACT)

NAVTEQ (NYSE:NVT) , a provider of digital map data for location-based solutions and vehicle navigation, has been selected by NVision Solutions, Inc. to provide map data for its Real-Time Emergency Action Coordination Tool and Vehicle Tracking solutions.

NAVTEQ(R) map data, enhanced GIS attributes, and NAVTEQ Parcel Boundaries(TM) data will be integrated into REACT to allow for better collaboration and visibility among various agencies when responding to emergencies.

NVision is a leading provider of mission-critical, GIS-based decision support systems with a growing footprint in the EU geospatial space. By utilizing NAVTEQ data, NVision plans to add highly-accurate, detail-rich transportation and Points of Interest data to REACT, which is marketed to various local/state/federal agencies for real-time integrated GIS command and visualization solutions. NVision will also be using NAVTEQ data for its Vehicle Tracking solution, an asset tracking and alert application specifically designed for municipalities.
