Security Solutions International showcases critical counter-terrorism skills

Security Solutions International (SSI) will offer the second in a series of scheduled training sessions in the Seattle area on July 16th& 17th. In partnership with the Port of Seattle PD, Suicide Terror and the Threat of Explosives is designed to give First Responders in the Washington region the same critical counter-terrorism skills SSI has taught across the U.S.A.

The increasing threat of suicide terror and the use of various forms of explosives is evident in events in the Middle East, Europe (the London and Madrid subway attacks) and the U.S.  This insightful training course has been expertly designed to bring world-class counter-terrorism training to First Responders, corporate security officers, and federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies dedicated to maintaining Homeland Security.  The two-day workshop will feature Samuel Bashan, one of Americas foremost experts on explosive threats and anti-terror security practices.
Participants in this insightful, packed program are presented with the latest know-how concerning domestic and international terrorist threats along with best practices for detection, prevention and response to the threats posed by radical Islamic groups.

The two sessions cover topics including:

-The tenants of Islam in the modern world the conflicts inherent in the 3 major religions
-Terror organizations founded on religious or secular fundamentalism
-International and state sponsored terror
-Bin Ladens terrorist activities and international terror cooperation
-Israels strategies for fighting terror
-International cooperation and coordination in fighting terror
-Typical bomb construction and firing mechanisms
-Booby traps, hiding places, and the use of everyday objects as bombs
-Car bombs, suicide bombers, and combination attacks
-Standard event management and analysis procedures
-Finding and identifying suspects
-Management and operation of entry control systems
-Procedures for combing different areas effectively
-Building evacuation procedures and crowd control policies
-Dealing with anonymous bomb threats and suspicious packages
-Crisis and pressure situation management
