The Pelco Public View Monitor, created specifically for the security industry, is an integrated monitor and camera system designed for placement at building entrances, such as retail, banking and medical facilities. The Public View Monitor simultaneously deters criminals (vividly demonstrating that the premises are protected by video security) and allows the display of promotional, welcome and informational messages to everyone who enters the building. "By utilizing Pixim technology, the camera in our Public View Monitor self-adjusts to any lighting condition, making it ideal for locations challenged by variable light," said Linda Myers, Pelco product marketing manager. Pixims all-digital system overcomes typical impediments of existing analog CCD technologies to provide positive subject identification.
